What You'll Do
As an Acquisitions Specialist, you'll focus on generating new business opportunities while helping prospective customers understand their insurance options.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engage with prospective customers through phone calls, emails, referrals, and community outreach
- Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Schedule and conduct follow-up conversations with prospective customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Collaborate with team members to support agency growth
- Track daily activity and maintain accurate customer records
- Follow agency procedures and insurance compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent follow-up skills
- Comfortable initiating conversations with prospective customers
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, outreach, or customer service preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to obtain applicable state insurance licenses
- Insurance experience is a plus but not required
